But Amazon never posted it. Went into detail about the game and being an actual gamer the information would be useful to anyone interested in buying. Oh well!

I bought this game as an alternative to the very slow paced cabelas big game hunter. As an avid hunter i realize deer drive is not reality but for gaming it’s great. It’s action packed & loads of fun so far. The beginner stage is fairly easy but when you move up a notch it’s more challenging due to the fact you have to hit a vital in order to kill game. It also works with my Wii Zapper which is a plus. I didn’t give it 5 stars simply because of the “no zoom in” (atleast i’ve yet to find the ability to zoom unless it has to be unlocked which may come as i play more) which sometimes makes trying to hit long range game difficult. All in all the game is great for the money as far as shooting/hunting games.

This does not simulate hunting it is just a shooting game. The animals come out and you are told what to shoot. There are different levels and difficulties. My husband love the practice. Shared this game with others which also bought the game. Great for young hunters to practice shooting.

I purchased this mainly for my 5 year old son. He loves anything hunting, and has rented all hunting games available (like Dangerous Hunts). Those other games take much more time, patience and reading skills, so he usually needs help from an adult. So I looked at reviews of hunting games, and bought Deer Drive.
You really don’t need a wii zapper or gun to play this game. The nunchuck isn’t used. Most of the game consists of shooting Bucks, with Moose & Bear that come out and run towards you. You have to shoot them before they kill you. (not gory at all, if they get you the screen turns red & says you didn’t pass the level). You get points for shooting bucks, moose, bear, and any other animal (squirrels, owls, ducks, rabbits). You lose points for shooting does. You have to get a certain number of points to go to the next level, or you’ll have to restart that level.
On Deer Drive, my 5 year old is fully capable of playing the game without any help. It also allows him to shoot without walking through the woods trying for find an animal on a map. It’s similar to the arcade games that you just shoot as many as you can.
You can play two players simultaneously, both shooting at same animals. You can play up to four players in a tournament, where each player takes his turn at each level.
Pros: *Fun for all ages (3+) (no swearing, don’t need to be able to read)
*Constant action
*1-4 players
Cons: *Levels aren’t very different from each other.
*The animals usually come for the same spot each time.
*Wish each level were a little longer in length.
I would recommend this game. It is worth the [...].

I love this game. I never thought I would like a hunting game but this one is fun. The deer keep coming and you just keep shooting. The hardest part is to not shoot the does.
