Glad we rented this game first. My wife and I were bored after about 30 minutes. I honestly don’t understand how people can rate this as a 5 star. Maybe I’m missing something. The games are all highly repetitive and not at all original. You will be sorry if you buy this game because you will be finished with it after the first night.

I just bought this yesterday, and it is so much fun. My little boy loves it too. I was worried it wouldn’t be as great as the ride at California Adventure, but it is just as fun. It also has a lot of other fun games that aren’t on the ride. Everyone should buy this game.

Got this game this morning…it makes no sense what so ever. You need to complete different challenges to progress in the game but get little guidance as to how to do the challenges. I wish I hadn’t wasted $45 bucks!!! Looks like this one is getting traded in tomorrow!

this game really should be only $20-30 considering the effort & content.

    Pros:

graphics – are decent, it does have some textures which is nice to see, most games don’t even that that much.

menu system – had great details of toy room & toy choices

the voice acting was decent in the few second cut scenes, though during gameplay you’ll hear the same lines over & over to the point of immense annoyance.

you can skip cut scenes & goal instructions by hitting B repeatedly.

you can turn on/off the reticule & use either A or B to shoot.

nice tutorial for the tickets/stickers area.

    cons:

voice acting – along with repeated lines at nauseum during gameplay, some of the voices seemed condescending.

story mode – just playing game after game after game, getting all 2-5 goals in order to unlock it for free play. when you start story mode at atny time, you are forced to always start from the beginning practice each time & you can never skip games even if you’ve unlocked it.

menu in game – only pause, controls, goals & quit.

I had my cursor disappear as well.

3D – worst I’d ever seen from red/blue & I love this type since the late ’80s as a kid, though I love the new IMAX more, but that’s not possible w/o shutter glasses. there are only 5 games that have it & they are ones you already played in normal mode. I agree, when it was on, I couldn’t even tell & it just made my eyes tear up & look blurry, nothing more.

you can do the shooting by hitting A or B non-stop like a machine gun & you’d only be penalized by not having your accuracy be the top of the accuracy high % list.

as another said, the lame shaking for bonus points. only preschoolers love this.

I didn’t play all of it, I got very frustrated by the inability to go past games I’d unlocked or did the many goals & got a high enough score to try to see the other games I hadn’t played yet. what I saw was mostly various themes of a shooting gallery, a shell game using chocolate a chocolate gold coin in slow moving teacups, shaking wii mote to make the pig dance, a way too easy skee ball, a “ring the bell” using spaceship to takeoff

    boring high score/accuracy list.

I do love arcade/mini games & shooting games, but I’d rather play rayman raving rabbids 1 or 2 for their on-rails shooter, much more humor & interaction.

    gameplay videos – check youtube

other game site reviews – metacritic, gamespot, ign (many complained about the manu & mindless shaking).

  5. My 4-year-old daughter and I absolutely enjoy this game. It’s a bit challenging to figure out how to complete some of the shooting rounds, but that’s what makes it exciting. We’re looking foward to ride Toy Story Mania next week when we head on over to Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure Park. Can’t wait to see the similarities. HIGHLY recommend!!!!
