I purchased this game for our family after reading so many great reviews about it. However, after actually playing the game with my teenage son, I am EXTREMELY disappointed. I expected a more realistic mini-golf experience, but this game is just silly. It is not at all realistic and does not require any of the skill or strategy of real mini-golf. While it may be entertaining for youngsters, I strongly recommend renting this game to determine if it is a “good fit” for you and/or your family before considering the purchase of it.

This game lives up to the Carnival Games line. My kids age 7, 5, and 3 all love it and have lots of fun. As long as you don’t expect true minigolf you will enjoy this game.

Not really a true mini golf game…. sometimes you have to guess about which hole because the right one changes (for example, in the dinosaur game). Too much activity by the mii, find myself waiting for their animation to stop so I can continue. Not really what I anticipated. Kind of boring.

The first time my children ages 11 and 15 played this game, they hated. They wanted me to sell it. My daughter wont even play it again. The first time I played it, I wasnt so happy with it myself. My son played much better the second time he played. There are 9 different themes with three holes each. There are easy, medium and hard themes. There are three types of holes and each theme course has one of each. Adventure hole, fairly easy with the possibility that you get to play a mini game. challenge hole, and trick shot most of which just seem to be pure luck if you can actually get it. One particular hole the hole moves from shot to shot so you have no way of guessing where it will be next. The game can be fun, but can also be very frustrating. I recommend this game for avid mini golfers who want a challenge. If you are looking for a relaxing, but slightly challenging course, look for something else. We like the mini golf on Summer Games, Paradise Island. However, there is only one course so we wanted some variety.

  5. I liked this better than the carnaval games package , I only gave it 4 stars cause the animated avatars don’t do a whole lot , one avatar falls down all the time and another sings and dances , so there is a lot of repetitive player animations. Overall a Fun game of golf and the courses are cleverly challenging .
