  1. This game is hard! You can’t even get going very easily from the very start of the game and it’s difficult to maneuver. Only experienced gamers will have any luck with this and they probably would find the whole thing boring.

  2. I bought it because I was feeling a bit nostalgic and was hankering for a good Spyro game. Unfortunately we don’t have a PS2 anymore or the old Playstation. So I bought this one for the Wii thinking that it will kill my craving but I was a little disappointed with the game overall. Not too fond of being connected to another dragon and having to lug her/him around depending on who you want to play. I thought it was going to be like the old Spyro’s that I’ve grown up to and loved! I hope they get the hint that some just wish for Spyro to return to unlocking worlds, collecting items, and doing puzzles. Also meeting all the charming characters in each world. My favorite world was the one with the baby turtles.

I have collected every Spyro game since it started on PS1. I keep them all and love the characters but I must say ever since Spyro’s appearance on PS2 I believe these games are going down hill. It changed from a simple press the button to flame an enemy to having to complete combos, deciding between several attacks to think of which one will best kill your enemy and now in this one, horrible camera angles. You can’t move the camera at all- it is stuck where it is.

As for characters. I am glad that you can play between Cynder and Spyro but all the other characters made me so ticked at the creaters. Spyro has stayed the same for the most part (a humble little dragon just trying to save the world) but Sparx (ever since the past two games) I have started to slowly not care for his character. He is really sarcastic and at first it is funny but over time it just becomes annoying. Also this ‘new character’ called Hunter. I really think they should have come up with a new name for that cheetah if he wasn’t going to be the same Hunter as he was three or four games ago (the clutsy dimwitted cheetah that helped Spryo defeat Ripto and was my favorite character).

There are parts of this game that are very hard but I do like the hours of game play so far. Just like any other Spyro game- there is enough hours to keep you playing for quite a while unlike some other Wii games that I play for two hours and somehow beat.

I don’t regret buying this game but I do wish that they could work on the plot lines and how characters.

  5. … but that’s about all I can say. It’s an ok game for kids, but there’s really not a lot to it. If your kid has entered the “wizards and dragons phase”, then they’ll probably like this.
