I’m not happy to even take the time to review this game, but if it helps one person to save their time and money then it will have been worth it. Remind me to never again purchase a game from Krome studios, they are absolutely horrible! Krome owes us all a refund, or at the very least an explaination for this complete shovelware. The graphics are absurd; play is overly auomated and stifled by rails (limited coralled movement), and per usual a marketing campaign filled with misleading screenshots and video clips that have nothing to do with actual gameplay. I could go on and on but I’ve already wasted enough time with this heap. How this game was rated 4-stars at the time I decided to purchase it I have no idea; I understand one person’s trash is another’s treasure, but “Republic Heroes!?” Really? Really!!!?

  2. The game rocks, you will have a really nice experience. Very interesting, good graphics and lots of fun! The only thing to remember is when they ask you to use the force, dont hold Z, just click and release… just click and release…

Let the force be with you…

This product was fun while it lasted, me and my brother played this and finished it in five days. The effects are pretty good, but dying is a big pain. And the best part of the game is fliping and doing tricks, thats blast. But really that is the only fun of it. Overall don’t waste your money and buy it, but if you really want to play it, rent it.

It was very good but needs something else, don’t know exactly what to add, like improving the control movements and the camera perspective. But is something worth a try, it was fun.

Picked this game up on a whim without reading reviews. I’m a 26 year old who doesn’t play video games that often. Republic Heroes on Wii has mediocre graphics at best. Contrary to all of the packaging and advertisement, this games camera angle is very hi so you can’t see anything of detail. It basically consists of running through an environment slashing or shooting at enemies who are very easy to kill, even on hard. There is limited free movement, so you are pretty much at the mercy of where the game wants you to go. You jump where it tells you to jump, etc. The graphics also do not translate very well for depth perception, so it’s often difficult to know which angle to jump or run at resulting in your character dying. This makes no difference, however, as you re appear at the nearest checkpoint. I do not recommend this game to anyone.
