Will The Nintendo Wii Come Out With Better Games In The Future?
All I have is a Nintendo Wii. I was wondering if I should spend the money to get a Xbox 360 or PS3. I’m not too sure if the Wii will come out with incredible or mind-blowing games in the future. It’s really bugging me that other systems have games that I want to play while I’m stuck with a Nintendo Wii. Any ideas on what I should do?

I was in the same boat I had a Wii for a while got all the good games then I watched them at E3 08 and saw their upcoming titles all I said was WOW nothing, there target audience is not hardcore gamers but casual, if you like the halos and the killzones you should switch immediately the day I got my 360 I played the most violent game I could get haha, i think there future looks the same more kid friendly games, come on really wii sports on island big step forward NOT!!! I would recommend a 360 I love GOW 2 if you get a 360 my gamertag is TW Anthony520
keep your wii nintendo has o cater to their hardcore crowd SOMETIME, but i suggest you do what i did. i bought a ps3, xbox is good to but i like the quality of the ps3. Anyways, yeah i would buy another system. I love nintendo a lot but this is good if you want to expand your library
Well your probably asking this question because you want more titles aimed towards hardcore gamers. I’m sorry to say that if Nintendo continues on the path it is taking now there won’t be much at all for hardcore gamers to get excited about. The Conduit got pretty good reviews. Dead Space Extraction looks promising. Super Mario Galaxy 2, a new Metroid, and a new Legend of Zelda game is in the works. But yeah that’s pretty much it. I made the same mistake you did and got a Wii when it first came out thinking that there was games for hardcore gamers coming out but about 2 years ago I just got pissed and took every gaming thing i had and trading it in towards a 360 at Gamestop not giving a damn what they gave me for it all and walked with a 360 and Oblivion, FEAR, Dead Rising, Bioshock, and Halo 3. I would sell the Wii and invest into a 360. PS3s are okay but they just don’t have a vast library and a superior online play like the 360 does. I’m not a 360 fanboy I mean I plan on getting a PS3 soon to play some of the exclusives. But between a 360 or a PS3 get a 360.
